Greg Currid

Greg studied piano under Joyce Mildren, LRCM and sang with the Midland Boy Singers in Walsall, West Midlands up until his move to Ireland in 1978.

In 2000 he moved to Wexford with his wife Jackie and their 4 children.

He has performed with Wexford Pantomime Society in 'Robin Hood', 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs' and 'King Arthur'. As a member of Oyster Lane Theatre Group, he has played the roles of 'Bill Hickock' in Calamity Jane - 2002), 'Doolittle' in My Fair Lady - 2004. He was also chairman of OLTG in 2005.

Greg has worked with Wexford Drama Group and in 2004 won the West Cork Drama Award for Best Supporting Actor playing the dual roles of 'Captain David Collins' and convict 'John Wisehammer' in their production of Our Country's Good.

Greg was appointed Musical Director of Wexford Male Voice Choir in April 2007 and is looking forward to a satisfying, yet challenging relationship with the group.
