Fiona Kelly

 

 

Fiona is a member of a well-known Wexford musical family. She has been

playing the piano since she was eight years old. She studied with Sister

Elizabeth of the Convent of Mercy, during which time she won two

awards at the Leinster School of Music and an award at the Arklow Music

Festival. She also studied with Mr. Alan Cutts of the Wexford School of

Music and also with Mrs. Ilona Jenkins. In 1988 she was awarded a

scholarship under which she studied the Pipe Organ with Mrs. Ruth

Miller.       

She was the accompanist at Clonard Church for seven years and was

appointed full time accompanist to Wexford Male Voice Choir in 1991.

Fiona acquired her Teaching Diploma from the Leinster School of Music,

Dublin.
